What We Love About Hull...

We love Hull Marina.

Hull Marina is in the heart of the City of Kingston upon Hull. It was opened a little over 30 years ago on the site of the former Railway Dock and Humber Docks and hosts around 270 berths.

During the summer, Hull Marina is a busy place, hosting the Sea Shanty Festival and Hull’s Jazz Festival. With nearby hotels and cafes it’s something of a beauty spot and a placed for a relaxing stroll.

The renowned Spurn Lightship is moored there and acts as a mini museum. As the name suggests, the Lightship guided ships safely through the treacherous River Humber for almost half a century. Aboard the ship, you can learn how it was used as an aid to estuary navigation and find out what life was like for its crew.

Hull Marina's location is great for visitors and for boat-owners looking for a long-term berth. It's very close to the City Centre for shopping and for visiting its many cafes, historic pubs, museums, gallery and Victorian Quarter. It’s also a short walk to the iconic, internationally renowned aquarium called The Deep.
